Shri Ambica Arts College has been started by Shri Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust in 1991, with an intention that the youths of Ambaji and its surrounding area get advantage of modern education and there can be all round development of this tribal area, through such education. At present more than 841 students in graduation and 107 in post graduation course are studying here and take their education from Shree Ambaji Arts collage. Moreover a special Post Graduation faculty in Hindi is also now introduced in this college. Nowadays the whole campus is also renovated into a big academic complex with new buildings, hostel, library, staff quarters, overhead Water Tank, garden surrounded with compound wall on 10 acres of lands, at the huge expenses of about Rs.7 crores and more in future. |

As per its planning, the new college campus is spread over 3890.61 sq. meters in area, containing 8 big lecture halls with the capacity of 80 students in each hall, and 8 new lecture halls of 50 students sitting capacity per each hall and two big seminar halls, staff room, boys room, girls room, sports room, NCC & NSS rooms, Office of the Principal and other straff, and also a big Canteen, at the total costs of Rs.3,13,36,860/-A separate multi storied big Hostel on 3149.11 sq. meters in area at the cost of Rs.1,74,20,349/- containing two big blocks for 120 students, with 40 rooms for 80 boys and 20 rooms for 40 girls, coupled with a recreation room, big dining hall and modern toilets blocks is designed by Shri Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust. |

Shri Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust also runs Shri Ambica Sanskrut Maha Viddhyalay for the purpose of the development, propaganda and protection of Indian Culture and Sanskrit Language and vedic Literatures. since 1970. Here in this Maha Viddhyalay, the education of Sanskrit is provided in a quite old traditional ways, so as described in our Hindu Scriptures and Shastras. |

Total Free Lodging and Boarding facilities are also been provided to all the students coming here from outside places to study Sanskrit. The Sanskrit Maha Viddhayalay has also a very good library, having a treasure of some rarely available holy religious books and old scriptures on Vedas, Darshan Shastra, Dharma Shastra, Puran and other ancient and modern books on Sanskrit literatures. This is a very significant educational institute and Sanskrit Academy in the whole of North Gujarat India. As per a survey 345 students have joined Shri Ambica Sanskrut Maha Viddhyalay, since the year 2000-2001 and Shri Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust incurs all the expenses of this institute, in tune of lakhs of rupees for promotion of Sanskrit. |
