Every year lakhs of pedestrian pilgrims from various parts of India come to Ambaji on their feet by walking. So Shri. Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust has constructed certain Pilgrim Shades at Bavalkathia, Hadad and Agia on Himmatnager Highway, at Bhalusana, Ambagata, Navavas and Danta on Satlasana- Danta Highway Road, and at Merwad and Jalotra and at Bhagal Pipali on Palanpur Highway. Now it is proposed to establish some new such Pilgrim Rest Shades at Virpur Roopur Bhemal Mumanvas Trishulia Gata and Ranpur at the instances of Shri Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust (SAAMDT). |

An ambitious big water project together with certain other projects like Ambica Bhojanalay, street lights, highway dividers, pipelines gutters etc. are implemented for the development of Ambaji Tirth, with the help of Shri. Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust for the benefit of the pubic and tourists at large, under the auspice of its public charitable activities. |

With a view to sufficiently supply the water to the Ambaji Tirth and its surrounding development and to meet the needs and demands of water for the use by the tourist and the people settled in Ambaji, a big ambitious water supply project at the cost of Rs.5 crore is now proposed to be sanctioned by the government and the 5% initial margin amounts of Rs.25 lakhs as the public contribution is to be paid by Shri. Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust and the Ambaji Gram Panchayat has also contributed a grant of Rs.26 lakhs for this project, in order to get implemented soon for the benefit of the pubic and tourists at large. |
